Information we collect

• Account details — name, email, phone, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text) when you create an account.
• Order & shipping details — delivery address, phone number, and order contents, needed to fulfil and ship your order.
• Payment information — processed directly by Razorpay, our payment partner. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves.
• Enquiry form submissions — name, email, phone, and message, if you contact us for trade or bulk enquiries.
• Guest cart identifier — a random ID stored in your browser (`localStorage`) so your cart persists between visits before you create an account.

How we use it

To process and deliver orders, respond to enquiries, send order/shipping/payment confirmation emails, prevent fraud, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Who we share it with

• Razorpay — to process payments.
• Our email provider — to send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets, etc).
• Cloudinary — to host product images.
• Delivery/logistics partners, solely to fulfil and ship your order.

Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your account details at any time from your account panel, or by emailing hello@guchhi.in. You may also ask us to delete your data, subject to what we're legally required to retain (e.g. order records for tax purposes).

Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to keep you signed in and remember your cart between visits.
